automatesocials Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of the automatesocials application (the “App”), operated by Makes Cents Financial Pty Ltd (ABN 18 698 399 807), Authorised Credit Representative No. 579450 of Connect Asset Finance Pty Ltd (ABN 37 679 877 180), Australian Credit Licence 566884 (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the App you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of the service
The App is an internal content scheduling and publishing tool. It allows an authorised operator to review and publish pre-approved educational finance content to social media accounts owned by Makes Cents Financial (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn). The App is provided for the business’s own use and is not offered to the general public.
2. Eligibility and authorised use
Access is restricted to authorised personnel of Makes Cents Financial. You must be authorised by us to use the App, must keep your sign-in credentials secure, and must not share access with any unauthorised person.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes, and you must not:
- publish content that is unlawful, misleading, or that infringes the rights of others;
- use the App in any way that breaches the terms, policies, or community guidelines of TikTok, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, or any other connected platform;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, its data, or its underlying systems;
- use the App to send spam or to publish content at volumes or frequencies that violate a platform’s rules.
4. Connected third-party platforms
The App publishes to third-party platforms through their official APIs. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own terms and policies, and each platform may change, limit, or discontinue its API at any time. We are not responsible for the availability, conduct, or decisions of those platforms.
5. Content and intellectual property
Content prepared and published through the App is the responsibility of Makes Cents Financial. Makes Cents Financial retains ownership of its own content and brand. The App software and its design remain our property. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the App.
6. Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that publishing to any connected platform will always succeed.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App at any time, including where these Terms are breached or where a connected platform requires it.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at this URL, and continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
